About The Blog

When I was five years old I wanted to listen to more female artists. So my dad created a CD with only female artists from all different genres and generations, and called it Lydia's Girls. 

I wanted to create this blog to honor these amazing artists and their artwork. On this blog I will write about some of the artists that are on the CDs my dad made; I call them my Original Girls. I will also be discussing other artists that I have found on my Spotify playlist: Discovery Weekly. This section is called New Girls. 

I hope that this blog introduces new artists that you will love.
